GamePlay

RULES:  There are no rules; players make them up and choose how to follow them. Groups of players may get together to choose rules that they collectively want, the more people playing within the same rules will affect their own gameplay and that of others nearby (socially, psychologically, physically, emotionally, and/or spiritually).

OBJECTIVE: At the start of the game, the main objective is to stay alive. Other objectives come into play as you move through the game. Objectives vary, depending on player, where they are in the game, and what rules they've chosen to play by. Objectives may change throughout the game.

BEGINNING: In the beginning, you are born with what The Machine randomly gives you; DNA, parents and their rules, location, type of society and its rules, privileges and/or drawbacks. You may not change these and they affect your decisions throughout the game. As you move through the game, you may change your location or society when you have gained enough "maturity points".

HOW To PLAY: That is up to you. Your objectives and rules will affect how you play. A good tip is listening to and learning from other players who have a lot of "maturity points" and making decisions with the consequences of their experiences in mind.

MATURITY POINTS: These are given after each experience, decision, and their consequences have been tallied. The more challenging the experience/decision, the more points are given - Yet, 'challenging' experiences are subjective and can't be compared with others. You do not give yourself maturity points, these points are given by The Machine. Other players who know you well can see how many maturity points you have, you do not see them and neither do players you do not know.

THE MACHINE: The Machine gives out "maturity points" and also randomly tosses Luck, good and bad, in a variety of forms.

LUCK: Though Luck is randomly generated, it can also be produced by your decisions.

END: The game ends at the moment of death.
